This is the class for you!

Let your students’ imaginations soar while enjoying classic children’s tales and learning to write with structure and style!A wide variety of adventures will supply a rich foundation for imaginative and enjoyable writing.This theme-based writing curriculum offers a full year of instruction for students in grades 3–5 and is perfect for homeschoolers, homeschool co-ops, tutors, and hybrid schools. Your students will work through IEW Units 1–7 as they learn to take notes, retell narrative stories, summarize references, write from pictures, and compose their own fables, myths, and fairy tales.

Travel back in time to early United States history! This theme-based writing curriculum allows students to delve into the excitement of explorers, battles, land expansion, famous ships, and founding fathers while learning to write with the Structure and Style® writing method. Offering a full year of instruction for students in grades 6–12, these lessons cover all nine IEW Units. Vocabulary cards, literature suggestions, and access to helpful PDF downloads are also included.Price for both semesters and includes the student book.Marsha is currently working to become a Registered Instructor with IEW.

This is a student-run project to write, produce and perform a play.  We will be writing the script, making costumes and sets ourselves and then producing a fabulous play.  This is a chance to explore your creative side.  There will be a variety of opportunities including writing, directing, acting, costume designing, set building and painting and perhaps even singing and dancing!  There are also roles for marketing and sales.

Apologia Physical Science Lab NW is your student's second introduction to conducting experiments. We will spend two weeks on each module of the Apologia Physical Science text (Edition 2--get used) for a total of 32 class sessions. At home, she will read (or listen to the MP3 of) each Module and answer the On Your Own Questions and Study Guide. Then, if you wish, you can administer the Module tests. It is required that you have the textbook and the accompanying Laboratory Notebook. You will also find it helpful to own the answer booklet. Class fee includes all materials for experiments.  Ages 11-15.

In this 32 week class we will be conducting the labs associated with the Apologia Biology textbook, which include multiple dissections and much microscope work.  This class is designed for grades 8-12.  We will spend about two weeks per module (chapter) and your child is expected to read the module and answer the study questions on her own.  The tests will be administered and graded at home.  Purchase of the textbook and associated student notebook is required.  Filling out the student notebook is strongly encouraged to provide appropriate portfolio documentation for high school transcripts.  All dissection and microscope materials are included in the price.
