Students will be expected to spend 30 minutes to an hour and a half each week on research and activities outside of class. Students should bring a basic calculator and notebook for keeping handouts to each class. They are also encouraged to bring a means for conducting internet research in class such as a tablet, kindle or smart phone. They will also be required to register with HowtheMarketWorks.com to trade imaginary stocks.
A minimum of 6 students is needed to make the class. The price of the class includes the student text ($29.99) as long as the student is registered by January 4, 2021. Those registering after January 4, 2021 will be responsible for purchasing their own texts.
